As you scroll through this page, you will be able to briefly read though the variety of ministry experience that I have been able to be a part of as a volunteer* as well as interning and vocationally. Involvement in ministries on a volunteer level will be indicated by an asterisk. The listing will include brief descriptions of each experience. Ministry Experience:
Salem Alliance Church: Salem, OR
Kids Ministry*
Growing up at Salem Alliance I had the blessing of being able to serve in various kids ministry opportunities at an early age. From nursery, to 4-5th grade, and special needs respite nights with the focus on the sibling while assisting with the other kids.
Canyonview Camp Jr Counselor*
Once I turned 14 I was able to now become a Jr counselor with Salem Alliance and go to Canyonview Camp while helping to lead a small group of kids under the leadership of the provided counselor. This included eventually helping to train future Jr counselors a few years later.
Youth Ministry*
Once Old enough, and around the time I felt called to ministry, I was able to serve a number of years in youth ministry capacities, including both Middle and High school ministries.
Outreach Ministry Internship
Through our Community center, the Broadway Commons, I interned with our Outreach ministry and was able to help teach kids Bible lessons, tutor adults in English while building bridges of trust to Salem Alliance Church for these families and individuals
Connection Ministry Internship
I interned in our Connection ministry, which oversaw weekend volunteers for our adult main service. My primary focus was creating presentations for our brand new partnership class, teach some of the weeks for this class, and help at our central hub each weekend for visitors to get to know Salem Alliance and tour our campus.
Middle School Ministry Internship
Once I began Ministry College, my first internship was done with Middle school ministry, where I helped to plan a service trip for 6-7th grade students, preach, continue leading a small group and more.
Salem Free Clinic Internship
As part of Salem Alliance’s spiritual formations ministry, and in partnership with the non-profit, multi church run Salem Free clinic, I participated each week through this internship in our prayer room twice a week. I was involved in observing the effectiveness of the faith aspect to the clinic, and developing further this aspect of the ministry, while partnering with the doctors and physicians.
International Prayer Gathering Internship
For an entire year, I interned on the pastoral and leadership team of a refugee church called International Prayer Gathering, which was in partnership with Salem for Refugees. This service was done in multiple languages and involved helping families to feel welcomed and transition into living in the states. I was trained in story telling preaching techniques for affective preaching to ESL/ELL adults and children/teens.
Ministry Experience:
Canyonview Camp: Silverton, OR
T.I.M (Teen In Ministry)
Over a two summers I spent a few months serving at Canyonview Camp directly as a teenager helping to lead groups of kids coming to camp to learn about scripture, horsemanship, and other summer actives. Serving would be done at overnight camps, day camps, horsemanship camps, or camp maintenance weeks.
Canyonview Camp Counselor
Once out of High school, I was hired on staff as a camp counselor to work at Canyonview Camp as well. I served as one of our head counselors, and was among one of the few Guy counselors that would serve overnight at the Horse Camp. I was responsible in leading activities at camps, lead T.I.Ms and Jr Counselors, groups of kids at each camp. Salvation messages would be given each week.

Pathway Church: Redding, CA
Kids Ministry*
Since coming on Staff with Pathway Church I have been able to help in our kids ministry for seasons or for periodic events.
Facilities Department
While on staff I was able to work for a season on our facilities team helping to maintain the building and facilities, from upkeep and cleaning rooms and restrooms, to setting up for various church events and closing the facility down for specific nights.
Sr High Ministry
First serving as my Pastoral Residency in College I was later higher on as the ministry assistant in Sr High ministry. I helped to run and oversee the ministry and volunteer leadership team. I taught bible studies, preached on Sundays or midweeks, created graphic communication assists for the ministry. Additionally I lead groups of students and leaders to summer camp and on missions trips to Mexico. I served for a few months as our Interim Sr High Pastor as well.
Communication and Marketing Department
Soon after getting hired I was given hours to work in our communications and marketing department at Pathway. I participated in our full church rebranding from Neighborhood Church of Redding, to Pathway Church. I participated in large event planning and communication from both a graphic design aspect and marketing aspect. I was also responsible to graphic design and photography tasks for our various ministries. I ended my season in this time serving as our Interim Communication and Marketing Director, until focusing my time in Sr High Ministry as the Interim Pastor.
Jr High Ministry*
I was able to serve in Jr High ministry under the youth ministry team while working at Pathway in Sr High ministry.
Young Adults Ministry
I have served in our Young Adults ministry also as our ministry assistant. I have also served twice on our Interim team as minister leadership has shifted. I have been involved in leading our volunteers, as well as shifting the focus and design structure to the ministry.
Marriage & Family Ministry
Over two years I have worked in our Marriage & Family Ministry as the ministry assistant. I have been involved in leading volunteers, overseeing and coordinating events and ministries we hold. I have also helped teach in classes at various times as well. I was responsible for a season to create and run our Marriage & Family website as an extension of our ministry.
Ministry Experience:
International Experience
Mexico, North America*
I have been blessed to go to Mexico on short term missions trip over spring break on several occasions. I first went as a high schooler myself personally, then as a volunteer leader while serving with High school ministry at Salem Alliance, and then on a other level as Sr High staff at Pathway leading the team and providing organization to the logistics of the trip.
Spain, Europe*
In college I was a part of a small team from Salem Alliance that joined with international workers in Granada Spain for about two weeks. Our primary focus was leading an English camp for kids and teams as an intentional out reach to build relational bridges to locals. There were Bible lessons and songs interwoven through the camp. Additionally we were hosted by a family in Spain for the entirety of the trip. I lead a group of teenage guys and was a part.
Burkina Faso & Mali, Africa*
In high school, I was able to be a part of a short term trip to Africa. We were able to visit ministry sights in both Burkina Faso and Mali Africa over about two weeks. We served in various campsites depending on the ministry sight along different international workers within the C&MA and other organizations as well.
Ministry Credentials:
Christian & Missionary Alliance
Licensed Worker
In 2017 I was able to go through the Licensing process through the Christian & Missionary Alliance as a ministry worker. This included Theology and testimonial vetting by LOCC (Licensing, Ordination & Consecration Committee). The Licensing process is a minimum of two years to complete and includes working in a ministry within the C&MA.
Ordained Ministry Worker
In 2019 I was able to complete the ordination process through the Christian & Missionary Alliance to become an official Ordained minister. This process again included continue theology and testimonial checkin by a board of LOCC (Licensing, Ordination & Consecration Committee) members. The ordination process is a minimum of a four year process including Licensing and working in ministry in the C&MA.
